用途：生化研究。为催化己糖6位上由ATP使之产生磷酸化反应的酶。对α-D葡萄糖的亲和性很高（Km=1x10-5M），对其他的己糖也可以进行磷酸化。此反应的平衡向右偏移。该酶可以被Mg2+，K活化，但可被HS试剂阻抑。

简单说明：Catalyzes the phosphorylation of D-hexose sugars at the C6 position utilizing ATP as a phosphate source. ATP + D-glucose→ADP + D-glucose 6-phosphate. Reconstitute with water or citrate buffer, pH 7.0. Studies have shown excellent stability during repeated freezing and thawing over a period of at least 30 days. Hexokinase is a dimeric protein with two equal 55 kDa monomers
